For a number of years we've been a part of Sutherland Shire Council's Australia Day festivities.

Helping disadvantaged children with a healthy breakfast to start the day at school.

Australian Rotary Health
Australian Rotary Health is one of the largest independent funders of mental health research within Australia. They also provide scholarships for rural medical and nursing students, as well as
Indigenous health students. Our club has helped fund these scholarships for many years.

End Polio Now
At the end of the 1980s, more than 350,000 children were paralyzed by polio every year. Today, Rotary and its partners have reduced the incidence of polio by 99.9 percent. Until we see the last of the poliovirus, eradication efforts need funding.

National Youth Science Forum
NYSF is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a number of residential programs to encourage young people in their passion for science. Our club has part-sponsored students to these programs.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is a week-long residential personal development program for young people aged 19 to 25, which focuses on yourself, leadership and community.

The Model United Nations Assembly is an annual event to educate senior high school students on the United Nations organization. Students to develop and practise their public speaking skills whilst debating on topical world issues.

The Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment, is for young people aged 14 to 16 years and caters for teenagers who have shown qualities and application in everyday life which deserve further development.

Usually held on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month outside Sutherland Uniting Church in Flora St. Near the Shire Farmers Markets.

Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children provides surgical treatment for children in Australia and New Zealand from developing countries from our Pacific Region in the form of Life Giving and/or dignity restoring surgery not accessible to them in
their home country.

Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

Aims to improve child development outcomes by inspiring and equipping fathers and father figures to effectively engage with their kids.

Located in the Shire, they accept donations of good quality preloved and new nursery furniture and items for babies and children for families in need. Once the items are ready for their new home, they are packed up with love ready for a new family.


A one‐day driver education school program for Year 11 students ‐ young drivers who are just starting their driving experience. It has been operating in St George/Sutherland Shire since 2004.
