Charity Food Collection

Woolworths Kirrawee gave our club permission to stand outside their store and ask their customers to buy an extra item that we could donate to The Family Co.

 

We manned their store in two hour shifts in early December, and gave each customer a shopping list of items that the charity preferred.  Boy, were their customers generous!

 

After 2 weeks they  had donated 40 trolley loads of food & groceries items.  In the week before Christmas the Charity was able to distribute hundreds of Christmas food packs to the needy families in the Shire.
