RYPEN
Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment
Opens, March Closes 15th August 2025.
Held 22-24 August 2025.
Location: Teen Range 352 Cobbity Rd, Cobbity NSW
Applicants: Age 14-16, Year 9 or 10.
A wonderful opportunity for students aged 14-16 years!
RYPEN is a Friday night to Sunday lunch youth development course for young people aged 14 to 16 years, and caters for teenagers who have shown qualities and application in everyday life which deserve further development.
RYPEN uses the common bonds of learning, co-operation, and friendship to design activities which facilitate trust and self-esteem. RYPEN seeks to broaden each participant’s horizons culturally, socially, and academically, providing the inner foundations for a strong future.
The cost of this Leadership course is met by our Rotary Club.
All applicants will be interviewed by members of our Club, and if selected, we request that after the camp is over, each student return to our Club & report on their experience to our members.

RYLA
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
Opens June, Closes when full.
Held Sunday 18th – Friday 23rd January 2026.
Age, 19 to 25 years
The program typically has 45 participants and focuses on leadership, personal development, teamwork, and community awareness. RYLA features presentations from many experts who generously donate their time and experience to further the development of young leaders.
The program combines workshops and presentations to fully explore the fundamentals of effective leadership. All attendees live, eat & sleep on site.
Cost for each participant: $ 800.

The National Youth Science Forum
Opens March, April. Closes 9 July 2025.
Held 6-14th Jan 2026 at the ANU in Canberra OR 13-21 Jan at U QLD, Brisbane.
Age Year 11 going to Year 12.
Ideal for young people with a passion for science.
Cost to participant: $ 3,065 plus $70 application fee.
Rotary Subsidy: $800

The Science Experience
Apply early in the year as limited spaces.
Held Macquarie University, 8-10 Oct. UNITECH 24-26 Sept
Yr 9 and Yr 10 students
Each program is designed to provide students who have an interest in science with an opportunity to engage in a wide range of fascinating science activities under the guidance of scientists who love their work.
Cost: 2 day program $ 160. 3 day program $220
